Could Fear of Failure be to Blame?
Why is a healthy lifestyle coach needed? I believe many of us have set goals to lose weight and become more healthy, so we can return to that old shape we had in college. As we proceed to our goal attainment we are motivated to get out of the rut we often find ourselves in.
Then suddenly we are stopped in our tracks by our thoughts of “Fear”- False-evidence-appearing real. This is where I believe a healthy lifestyle coach, is needed so they can blast us out of our unfounded fears and lead us back in the direction of our goal.
A lifestyle coach or yourself can help you realize that fears of failure may be to blame for suddenly refraining from the pursuant of your goal to weight loss. Fear is an unrealistic thought in your head, that you cannot attain a certain course of action, your goal. It’s a product of natural instinct and human desire fighting one another.
You see fear and your unrealistic thought of unreality work to keep you in the same rut. Fear is an emotion you can control. Be willing to take small steps and then gradually taking bigger steps to attain your goal of weight loss.
- Choose to eat nutritious foods each day
- Moderate exercise for thirty to forty-five minutes daily
- Stop the excuses and start seeing results in small increments
- Stick to a plan of action each day and don’t beat yourself up if you don’t follow through
- Be consistence and persistence you will attain your goal if you don’t give up
I Can If I Think I Can
Stay on a focused plan of action for your weight loss goal. If you need a coach by all means get one. I also believe you can be your own coach. Each day strive to push down the thoughts of fear and anxiety and replace your thought with, I can, and I will, attain this goal be persistence. You can do it, don’t let fear be a reason to stop you from realizing your dream of a new more healthy you.
